Catholic Schools Week Celebratory Mass

Today accompanied by Mrs McCafferty; two Primary 7 pupils attended St. Eugene’s Cathedral as part of the launch of Catholic Schools Week.  The theme this year is ‘Alive in Christ.’ The girls presented a beautiful poem written by Mrs Mitchell’s class at the start of the mass on the Altar.  They were then gifted a special candle to mark this significant event to bring back to school.  Bishop McKeown spoke of the importance of always being yourself, and shared the story of Sr. Clare Crockett.
