Continuation of Remote learning- letter from the Department of Education.
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am sure you are all aware of the announcement made by the Northern Ireland Executive yesterday evening. School closure is set to continue until at least Friday 5th March. That means that remote learning will continue. This is incredibly difficult to take in, however we must follow guidance in order to keep safe. I have attached a letter released today from the Department of Education.
Please continue to support your child in their learning, but remember to just do your best, be kind to each other and be kind to yourself. As a mother with a young family myself, I know that at times home learning and juggling family life can become overwhelming. I find that keeping a good routine and getting outside each day beneficial. As a school, we are here to support you where we can.
I would like to take the opportunity to remind our school community, that the school will be closed to all pupils and that remote learning will not take place on Monday 15th February-Friday 19th February due to the mid-term break.
Kind Regards,
Mrs S. McCafferty
