The Derrytrasna Pastoral Care Awards 2024

The Department of Education, in partnership with the Public Health Agency, is seeking examples of outstanding pastoral care in schools.

The Awards recognise school communities that have demonstrated exceptional co-operative effort in supporting the pastoral care of pupils in the 2022/23 academic year.

The closing date is Friday 15 December 2023 and communities are being urged to nominate now.

Schools cannot self-nominate but parents or others in the wider school community can nominate a school that has provided exceptional pastoral care.

A press release and DE weblink promoting the award and requesting nominations have been issued as per the links below.  We would encourage further promotion of this by your school to your parents and wider community.
