Primary 4 & Primary 5 participated in a diversity awareness workshop facilitated by Derry City Council...the children explored the themes of inclusion, racism and respect.
”Derry City Council came to visit our class to talk about diversity. We looked at the population of Derry and how there are people who live in Derry but were not born in the City. We talked about how lucky we are to have such an interesting City with so many different people who live here that speak different languages other than English. We made a collage of faces using celebrities from all around the world.”
