Laudato Si' Week 16th - 24th May

Boys and Girls,

Five years ago this week, Pope Francis wrote a letter to everyone in the whole world.  The letter was called the Laudato Si' and in it he asked all of us to start taking better care of our common home, Planet Earth.

He encouraged us to 'seek a new beginning,' which seems very appropriate for us today when our normal lives have changed so much.   I think we have all learned over the last few weeks what is really important to us and that less is definitely more.

We do a lot of work at school on the beauty of God's Creation and looking after our world.  Keep up your good work with reuse, reduce and recycle at home.
