Local Democracy Week

On Monday 14th October both classes took part in a workshop in The Guildhall to mark Local Democracy Week. The day began with a question and answer session by the Mayor followed by a tour of The Guildhall including sitting in the council chamber- many laws were passed! The children then listened to a debate on recycling presented by two local councillors and exercised their right to vote!
