Dear Parents/Guardians,
Together with the Board of Governors, I would like to inform our school community of the retirement of our very much valued secretary; Mrs Angela Doherty. Angela has been working in the school almost 17 years and has been totally dedicated to our school community; as both a learning support assistant and school secretary. On a personal note, she has been very kind, welcoming and helpful when I took up post in November and I will be forever grateful for that.
Angela will finish up at the end of August, where we will mark her retirement formally. The Board of Governors wished to invite parents/guardians to make a contribution to a retirement present. If you do wish to do so, please place any contributions in an envelope and give it to your child's class teacher clearly labelled before the end of the school term.
We are still going through the recruitment process to appoint a new school secretary, but I hope to share this information with you all very soon.
