Sacrament of First Holy Communion

On Friday 10th May, our wonderful Primary 4 children celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.  It was a beautiful day with sunshine and smiles all round.  The children prepared so well all year, their responses, readings, prayers and songs were all effortless.  Their reverence and respect are shining examples to our entire school community.  Well done boys and girls!  Many thanks to our choir members and tin whistle players who performed so beautifully, making the ceremony extra special. 

A special word of thanks to Mr Doherty, Miss Gillespie, Miss McGonagle, Miss Hill, Mrs Chambers, Miss Bojko, Mrs Forbes, Mrs Kivlehan & Mrs Jordan for their roles in ensuring a wonderful experience for the children.  Also a word of thanks to Fr Canny and the Waterside Parish Office for their continued support of the school.
