Dear Parents/Guardians,
I am writing to inform you of our new social media accounts. We have created a Facebook Page (school crest is the profile picture) and Twitter Account (@good_derry). These platforms will be used for the positive promotion of our school and our school community. It will also allow us to share information and guidance for parents/guardians from various support agencies and groups.
The school website and Schools NI app will continue be used as the central way of communicating with our school community.
If you are not receiving notifications from the schools NI app, click on the question mark on the top left hand corner and click ‘restart notifications,’ and then, ‘send test notification.’ If this does not resolve the issue, delete and reinstall the app.
If you need to contact a member of staff, please phone the school office. Staff are not available to communicate with parents via the seesaw app unless the class or school is closed and remote learning is going on.
A permission slip will be sent home for each child to gather permissions regarding the school website and social media platforms.
