Staffing Changes

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am writing to inform you of a few staffing changes at Good Shepherd Primary & Nursery Unit.

Mrs Gerardine Doherty, our wonderful Nursery Assistant has retired from her post, which she has held in the school for over 40 years.  I would like to thank her for her dedication and care which she has shown to the children of the Waterside over the years.  If Parents/Guardians would like to make a contribution to her retirement present they can leave it at the office next week (Monday-Wednesday).

I would like to extend a warm welcome to the following staff joining the team in September:

Mrs A. McKeever is our new school secretary.

Ms Catherine Maguire will be taking up post as Nursery Assistant within Mrs Kyle's nursery class.

Miss R. Whitehouse will be taking up post as Nursery teacher during Mrs Kyle's maternity leave.

As Mrs R. Connor (Primary 5) continues on maternity leave, Miss S. Sherry will be taking up post in the Primary 5 class (not Miss Kealey as previously anticipated).  Many of the children at the school have met Miss S. Sherry before as she delivered The Engage Programme last year.

Miss C. McFeely will be delivering The Engage Programme in school this year.
