STEM Workshop P5DW

Here at Good Shepherd we aim to prepare and inspire our young learners for the future.  Life long learning is an important skill.  On Thursday we welcomed staff from Fleming Engineering to facilitate a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) workshop. They came as part of GEN X, a Derry based project aiming to inspire the next generation of engineers.

The children explored various properties of aerodynamics and then used a small circuit to build and power a vehicle.  They were very engaged....well done boys and girls!
