It's the first week of the third and final term for the 2023-24 school year and we have had a busy and fun filled time here at Good Shepherd. Outdoor play, soccer coaching, Gaelic coaching, musical pathways, Jo Jingles, investigative math and plenty of accelerated reading to name a few of the learning experiences for our children.
🌟Congratulations to our all our student of the week winners. Settling into their new school, great listening, positivity and writing were amongst some of the skills and qualities celebrated this week.
🏆I had many talented children visiting the office to share in their recent successes at the Derry Feis. Well done to you all for your participation and winnings.
🤩I also had many boys and girls coming along this week to share in their excellent work and most importantly their progress and improvements. You are a credit!
🌿Our eco council have informed me that they will be judging the P4-P7 'junk-art/upcycling' competition on Monday... so there is still an opportunity for your child to get creative and enter.
