Voluntary School Funds
Dear parent/guardian,
Re. School Funds Contribution
Due to continued educational cuts to school funding, every year we ask families for a contribution to the School Fund. This is a voluntary contribution and we limit it to £30 per family.
What is this used for?
This money is used for the benefit of all pupils at the school. It will be used to support and enhance teaching and learning resources as well as the general upkeep of the school facilities.
This year we need funds to support:
- Accelerated Reading
- Transport to and from various sporting and curricular events
- Replenishment of resources throughout the school
- Izak 9 maths resources
- Musical Pathways to Learning provision
- Maintenance of current ICT provisions such as interactive whiteboard projectors and power cables
- Improvement of the school environment
- Minor maintenance of the school
- Purchase of materials required for science experiments
This can be paid via parentpay, or if you wish, in cash at the school office.
We are very grateful for your continued support throughout the year.
Kindest Regards,
Mrs S. McCafferty
